Get a Move On With These Reputable Beijing Relocation Companies

It’s no secret that moving house is stressful, no matter how far or close you are moving. From sorting through your belongings to packing them up, and finally choosing a transportation company, there are decisions to be made at every step of the way.
Fortunately, there are plenty of reputable licensed moving companies here in Beijing that can help you to tackle the job, covering everything from packing, transportation, and shifting the whole lot into your new home. They make moving a piece of cake (relatively) and give you plenty of flexibility to choose additional services such as packing and carrying, or simply driving your precious goods from door to door. Note that most will add any toll charges incurred to the overall fee, also some may add a reservation fee of approximately RMB 10 if you book in advance.
Founded in Hong Kong in 2013, Lalamove is now available in a total of 160 cities, including 14 outside of China. Like the majority of moving companies in China, rather than being a full-service moving service company, Lalamove is more like a van-for-hire service with certain relocation add-ons.
Accessible via both a dedicated app as well as a WeChat mini-program, Lalamove is very easy to navigate. First, choose your preferred van size from four options. Second, choose your pick-up and drop-off point, and a time for the driver to arrive. Prices start from RMB 30-120 for journeys within 5km, with extra charges calculated according to the total ride distance. Additional carrying help costs an additional RMB 150 per worker. No packing service is provided.
Launched in 2014, Kuaigou Dache also has a strong presence in China and is available in 27 cities. They provide five different vans sizes, varying in load limit, width and length, and overall load size. Prices start at RMB 35-125 for journeys within 5km, with additional charges for longer distances. Like Lalamove, additional carrying service costs 150 per worker, and there is no packing service.

Beijing company Bangyunbang provides door-to-door service covering packing, transport, and carrying, making them the most convenient option but also the priciest. They provide three van sizes, with a starting fee of RMB 34, 58, and 119 within 5km, and an extra RMB 3, 4, and 20 for each extra kilometer, respectively. Carrying help costs RMB 80 per person per hour and an extra RMB 30 for every additional 20 minutes.
Also based in Beijing, Lanxiniu is at your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They provide three van options which charge RMB 96, 176, and 348, respectively for moves under 10km, including basic loading (think, from the street into the truck and vice versa). Also, a nice perk is that if you live on the first floor, they provide a complimentary carrying service to your door, otherwise it will cost an additional RMB 12-20 per floor (second and third floors), RMB 24-30 per floor (fourth to sixth floors), and RMB 30-45 per floor (seventh floor and above), depending on which van size your choose. Lanxiniu also provides several other moving-related services upon request, including furniture assembly and disassembly and specialized fragile packing.
